His Tower of Babel

To Abram, the deck to our apartment is a vessel of socialization. From time-to-time we will hear him engaging our neighbors with light conversation about the ball, or tube of chap-stick, that he is holding in his hand. Their response is usually interlaced with a tone of amusement, or confusion. Megan believes this to be an oddity that he will need to overcome - "Abram, they don't care about your chap-stick" - while I feel that it is his way of simply "breaking the ice" (though his obsession with chap-stick and vacuum cleaners can sometimes get out-of-hand).

Recently, we pulled out his patriotic lawn-chair to further enhance the trailer-park atmosphere, and to make his observations and interactions more comfortable. As you can see, we've had no complaints:
